Friday, Jessica and I took a quick trip to Berlin (Amish country) to see if we could satisfy her color craving for the new baby's bed. We had an early lunch at a great restaurant, then went in search of Zink's Fabric Outlet. (It had moved from the house that it was in.) My oh my, was it a fabric lover's paradise when we found it!!! If we hadn't been on a strict budget, my fabric stash would have tripled!
We got back home in time to have supper, and then I packed up and drove to see the Lemons'! It was great getting to spend time with 3 of the 4 of them. Little Zesty is growing so fast! AND he's doing this crawl/launch thing that is absolutely adorable. He can't quite crawl fast enough to get where he wants to go, so he crawls a few inches, and then launches himself full length, and pulls his knees up to his elbows. Then he gets back on all 4's again. So, adorable!!!
He, also, is trying to figure out how to get into his exer-saucer. He LOVES playing with all the stuff that is attached to the tray.
Saturday evening, after a wonderful dinner of chicken fettucini alfredo, I drove home because the WonderHusband (aka Sir Nottaguy-Imadad) was not able to sleep well without me in the same bed. Sunday was filled with Sunday School, choir practice, and evening service.
Today, I am working on finishing emptying Mom's old bedroom, so that I can convert it to my new sewing room! I can't wait to get everything situated! I HATE! having my house feel cluttered and in upheaval, but I will LOVE having everything done.
Tomorrow I have a couple of appointments, but then I think I'm just going to catch up on my mending. (The WonderHusband is starting to point out how many buttons are missing from his work shirts, and mentioning that his work pants need some patches in important places.) It will be that much better if I actually get the sewing room moved today, so that I can mend in the new room!!!
