I'm Baaaccckkkk!!!

Let me tell you, Folks, a one week media fast is not for the faint of heart!!! Especially, if you live with a computer addict!!! (Ahem, not naming anyone in particular, Sir Nottaguy-Imadad!!)

To bring you up to date on our week: Not much really happened, because in addition to the withdrawal pains that a certain male in the house was experiencing, he, also, came down with a doozy of a sinus infection.

Oh, the moaning. And the groaning. And the blowing of the nose. And the coughing. And did I mention the MOANING!!!!! (He didn't actually come out and say the words "I'm dying", but he did say he would feel better if he could just shoot himself.)

And he would look so pathetic sitting around trying to find something to do with his time. (Honest, the one morning that I could sleep in until 6:30??? Yeah, he decides to leave for work early, because there wasn't anything else for him to do!! That meant that he woke me up 10 minutes BEFORE my alarm would have gone off!)

He is on the mend now! And the media fast has ended, so he has been on the computer getting his fix!

In other news:

Eva is starting to smile and coo at people now. (7 weeks old!) David Riley LOVES carrying his baby sister around and bouncing her. (AND when she hears him talk, her head starts pivoting so she can find him.) So far, the sibling love seems to be outweighing any rivalry.

Mrs. Lemon has informed me that she has discovered that if she doesn't eat every 4 hours, life gets ugly quick!

Our office was told today that our extended hours may not be near as extended in the very near future. No lay-offs are being mentioned, but the part-timers are going to be seeing some hour cutting going on.

Sir Nottaguy-Imadad lost an uncle over the weekend. His uncle has been doing lots of trips to Columbus and back to be with his wife in the hospital. He took a nap Saturday, and when one of the kids went to wake him up, he was gone. This is the 4th death this year for our family. Please keep us in prayer.

Have a great evening!

Ahem, It was only two minutes, not ten. (I'm the one who was awake at the time, I would know). Thanks for putting up with "Mr. Whinerbaby" through it all.

So very sorry that you had to deal with a sick husband...they are worse than sick kids! I feel your pain. Glad he is better and happy to see that you all are back. :0)
