Having raised two daughters, babysat countless little heathens, and caring for several grandchildren, I'm not a big believer in all the new-fangled stuff that has come out for babies. BUT every now and then something new comes along that I really want to try.
This weekend I purchased a Bumbo Seat. I! AM! IN! LOVE!
Eva hates to recline. She wants to be held up where she can see what's going on. The problem with that is that the adults in her life still have stuff to do that occasionally precludes holding her. She, also, is not a big fan of baby swings, although she's tolerating the one her Momma borrowed.
So what do you do with a baby that wants to sit up and is still too young to do it by herself??? You plop her in a Bumbo Seat.

Jessica liked the seat so well, she threatened to sue for joint custody. I let her borrow it last night & these are the pics she sent:Eva playing with her butterfly.

I heartly endorse the Bumbo Seat!!! I think EVERY FAMILY ought to have one. I think I've also found the new baby shower gift.

Isn't that handy that your other daughter is having another baby? And would love one for the new baby? Love the pic of Eva on the table. She's better than a bouquet of flowers.
I am going to have to buy a bumbo seat while I am out today!! I hope Ican find one!! Eva is adorable!!!
Jaylon loves his swing, his baby-bouncer, most everything! He also likes to just lay and be left alone sometimes! He's about ready to roll over!
I have never seen one of these--I guess I am out of the loop. Looks like Eva is really enjoying it.

Jan, I was out of the loop, too. We saw someone using one somewhere, and I fell in love!!! It's a supported seat for babies who can't quite sit by themselves yet. Marvelous invention!
Sigh...I never had one of these! They look wonderful. Love the new center piece. I wonder if I could talk Nurse Boy into one of those center pieces...baby and all.
