That's Telling 'Em!

The other night, Eva was running around the house barefoot. She stubbed her toe on one of the dining room chairs. (And at that moment I had multiple flashbacks to Jessica, Mrs. Lemon, Mom, and myself doing the same thing!)

She leaned down and started rubbing her toe and moaning. Then she straightened up, pointed her finger at the offending chair, and said "Don't hit!"

I burst out laughing. She glared at me like I had lost my mind.
