This is my day off. It has been a day!!! I woke up at 6:30 a.m., to pray with my husband before he went to work. Within 20 minutes, my 4 year old grandson, David Riley, (who spent the night) was awake and ready to wrestle in my bed!!! So, much for R & R! Then Riley let the dog, Sparky, upstairs. Sparky was in a very kissy mood this AM, so I decided it was much better to get out of bed and go feed both of the critters. My mother woke up shortly after we got downstairs, and was being a little "testy". (Life is so much fun with more than one generation in a household, even if it is just overnight!)
Around 10:30, Riley's dad, Robbie, decided to pick him up and take him fishing! (Riley loves to fish!) So, then I decided to go shopping in Columbus. Sears had a great sale on a skirt that I loved, so I picked up all three colors!!! (My daughter, Jessica, is rubbing off on me!) Then I went to JoAnn Fabrics and found two of the neatest denims. So, I bought them both. There's two more skirts! Hey, I may be pretty well set for skirts for a while. What a nice feeling! I, also, stopped at Old Navy to pick up daughter, Jessica, so of course I had to shop there, too. This time it was all kids stuff. Two pairs of pants for Riley. Two skirts for my "adopted" granddaughter, Abby. And--an adorable outfit for my pastor's new granddaughter, Danessa Dawn.
Needless to say, I'm bushed! I'm seriously thinking that an early bedtime and some good reading sounds very, veryyy, verryyyy Good! Hope everyone has a great night!
