Happy Mother's Day just doesn't say enough

To my Mother who...

...selflessly allowed God to create a human being inside your body...
...got up early and stayed up late to nurture your family...
...made difficult choices, and beautiful choices...
...stayed up all night to care for a sick child...
...sewed costumes for school/church plays...
...unwrapped a craft project from school that I made "just for you, Mommy"...
...accepted with gratefulness the flowers I picked for you, that you just spent hours planting...
...waited up until your daughter came home from her first date to hear all about it...
...allowed your child to step out of the nest and develop her own wings...
...paid for a 1-800 phone number in college so I could call home anytime I wanted...
...woke up at 1am to answer the 1-800 phone number because that's the only time I could call...
...hugged and kissed the new bride and groom...
...got the phone call "Mom? How do you boil an egg?"...
...got the other phone call "Mom? I'm really sick. Pray for me."...

...and so much more that goes unaccounted for, but never forgotten...

May you have the most blessed weekend, being honored for the hero that you are.

I love you so much.

Your blog hacker daughter
