I REALLY hate having migraines!!!
I have been migraine-free for nearly 9 months--until yesterday.
My doctor and I had pretty much determined that most (most being the operative word) of my migraines were hormone based, and she said I would probably have to deal with them until I was completely thru menopause. I started doing some research, and found out about hormone balancing creams. I'm pretty skeptical about the claims that most companies make about hormone creams/pills/drugs, but after researching AND talking to people (both sexes) I decided to give Arbonne's products a try. About 10 months ago I started using Arbonne's PhytoProlief cream. It was pretty much like a miracle to me. The first month, I only noticed some small changes in my cycle, but after that the improvement was absolutely amazing!!!!
Anyway---the other cause of migraines for me is asthma and allergy related.
If you live in the Central Ohio area, you are aware that not only is EVERYTHING blooming and putting out tons of pollen, but we, also, have been having a heat wave that normally doesn't show up until August.
90+ temps + 70% humidity + tons of pollen = asthma and allergy overload
I didn't feel well on Sunday. Just wanted to sleep. Yesterday around 9 a.m. -- KABOOM!!! Migraine went into full swing. Tunnel vision, flashing lights, rolling stomach, intolerance of light and sound! Remember--I haven't had one in 9 months. I had forgotten how SICK I feel. AND how mean!! (Yes, I truly can earn the Meanest Person On Earth Award during a migraine, and not even feel guilty about it!)
I managed to make it thru the day at work (Thanks, Lindsay for all your help!). And thru Spanish Class last night. (Sorry, I was soooo bumble-headed, Missy!) But I just couldn't do this morning! I was dizzy, nauseated, and MEAN! I called off work.
So, just for the record--I really hate migraines!!!
P.S. I am feeling better now. I was able to get up around 11 a.m. without feeling dizzy.

Sorry to hear about your migraines... How awful. My little sister suffers terribly from them as well. Since my hysterectomy I hardly ever get them anymore, but occasionally one will pop up. For what it's worth, the other day one was coming on (which I was certain was allergy related) and I took a Zyrtec, which is now over the counter, and 2 Excederin. I know this sounds so simple, but it stopped in its tracks! I woke up with the migraine which are usually the hardest to ever get rid of - I was amazed. I've taken every prescription imaginable, but the zyrtec with the excedrin was amazing! If you feel most of your migraines are allergy related you may want to give it a try.
