Songs In My Head

This week started out with me in tears over a situation that I had no control over, but it was breaking my heart to see it happening. I prayed and cried. I talked I over with my hubby and cried.  There was truly nothing I could do to change anything except my own attitude and outlook.  So, that was finally what I prayed for--my attitude and outlook.  God's response was amazing, as usual!  He kept dropping snippets of songs or choruses in my heart and a very specific scripture.

He gave me Philippians 4:8, to help me change my outlook by changing what I was thinking about.

The songs that have come to me have been just as amazing:

"In The Garden"
"Sweet Hour of Prayer"
"The Sweetest Name I Know"
"Holy Ground"
"I'm Going Through"

I'm so very thankful, that in the times I am in an emotional roller coaster, whether it was my making or not, He still remains faithful to strengthen and comfort me. He speaks peace to my heart because He is the "Peace Speaker".
