Today is my day off, and I'm so glad! I've already decided what I am making for dinner tonight (meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, and maybe an apple cobbler with cinnamon ice cream), I've had my shower and breakfast, and I've got my shopping list all written out. Can you tell that I had a good night's sleep???? I'm never quite this organized in the morning, it's almost scary!
Of course, I do have a good incentive -- I offered to pick David Riley up at preschool today and I have to make sure that I've got time to really enjoy spending with him! I haven't seen him since last Wednesday, and that feels like an eternity to this Nana!!!
Well, I've got to get going. I have to make a trip to the post office before I pick the boy up, he just doesn't do well standing in line at the post office! There's nothing interesting to him, so therefore it shouldn't be a stop where he is! (You learn these things after you have had your own children.)
