What A Week...

This has been a very eventful seven days!!!

Last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday our church held a Childrens'/Family Crusade. This was a really wonderful time of ministering mostly to children under 12 years old. For those of you who understand, we saw 21 children receive the gift of the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues. Nine of those children were baptized in the precious Name of Jesus!!! There were teenagers and parents who were also filled with the Holy Ghost and/or renewed their commitment to God, but it was so precious to watch the children!!!

The week at work has been very, very, very slow!!!! It also has been a messed-up week because of the Martin Luther King holiday. I really am a "rut" person. I hate when anything makes my schedule change!!!

I have decided that I need to do some more sewing!!! I'm loving the skirts that I made while I was on vacation so much, that they are in the laundry every week. My husband has even commented on it. (Of course, he is the laundry person in our home, so he gets a good glimpse of what my favorite clothes are!!!)

Tonight we are just trying to stay low-keyed, because tomorrow is the first Junior Bible Quizzing tournament for the Ohio District UPCI, and Ross and I are officials.

Tomorrow we will spend the day with 40+ kids between the ages of 5 and 12 who have been committing portions of the Book of Matthew to memory. Quizzing is the best kids' ministry that I've ever been a part of! I cannot think of anything more important than to help children memorize scripture and learn about Jesus!!!! This is my 23rd year being involved in Bible Quizzing both with the children and the teens!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I'll post the results of the tournament tomorrow or Sunday.

Have a lovely evening!!!
