Sorry about that 2 week hiatus! Believe me it was totally unplanned! I have nothing nice to say about people who release computer viruses, worms, or trojans! As a matter of fact, I really think that when they are caught and sentenced to prison time, that it should be a hard-labor (I'm thinking road crew-chain gang!) and NO TECHNOLOGY AT ALL sentence.
Of course, I'm not at all politically correct, however, I'm not sure that coddling criminals teaches them to avoid a criminal lifestyle. I mean seriously, a hardened criminal can take college courses and earn a B.A. while doing time and we taxpayers foot the bill?? They can have technology available based on good behavior, while they are serving time for murder, rape, burglary and armed robbery??? And don't get me going on the "jobs" they are "forced" to perform. If they had to grow the food they were going to be able to eat (AND that was ALL they were going to get), and they had to make the jumpsuits they were going to wear, and they had to clean the toilets and showers, I might consider that they were actually working. Keeping the prison gym in good shape doesn't quite cut it. (Why should they be allowed to become bodybuilders at taxpayer expense??)
I shall now descend my soap box.
At any rate, thanks to the wonderfully talented LJ Harry, our computer is up and running again. AND we are ever so thankful! I think I tolerated the break a little better than Sir Nottaguy, but then I'm not trying to run 2 different fantasy football leagues, and beat the tar out of the opposing members. Nor am I hooked on online sports news.
I need to get off of here. Eva is letting me know that she is starving to death, and Sparky won't stay still for her to gnaw on. I will fill you in on the last two weeks at a later point. (And probably in small portions.)

And I'm sorry I never got the message on here for you - I'm a bad bad daughter :)
I'm so glad that you are back!! I've been looking for a post and was happy to see one up this morning!!
Computer trouble is a pain and I hate it!! Thankfully, I don't seldom have it but when I do, it is usually major! Like, new computer major! Yuck!
Anywayyyy....so happy that you are back to blogging! ((HUGS))
Not to worry, he stomped my fantasy football team with ease.
Glad you are back. Just amazing how much we rely of technology isn't it? I can't live without it now... right down to finding new recipes!

Having spent a few years as a probation officer, I too have politically incorrect ideas about how the prison system should be run. Too bad nobody is going to put you and me in charge!
