Deer Season

It has been years, yea even eons, since I was a part of the "in the woods" crowd, however, I have never! lost my taste for yummy deer burger, deer steak, deer roast, etc! (I have, also, eaten bear, wild turkey, rabbit, ground hog, elk, and ostrich.)

I'm very thankful that my SIL Robbie is a good hunter and willing to share with his (ahem) wonderful MIL! This week he netted two deer. One an 8-point buck, and the other a fairly large doe. These, hopefully, will not be the only deer he bags this year. He hunts with bow, shotgun, and black powder, so he gets in on all three seasons.
