We've even got some of the gifts wrapped and under the tree!
One of the most frustrating things for me about the busyness of the season is that I am having trouble finding time to "get away from it all" in my sewing room. (As a matter of fact, my sewing room has become the stash it place!!! GRRRRRR!) I told my husband that I didn't care what else was going on Tuesday evening (last night) I was going to go into my sewing room and get Splenda's birthday gift finished. I did manage to do that!

Splenda is currently very fond of dolphins and the color turquoise, so Nana came through! (Thanks to the wonderful selection of no-pill fleece at JoAnn Fabrics!) I, also, fell deeply in love with the blanket stitch on my sewing machine!!! It was absolutely the easiest and best looking "machine" blanket stitch I've ever had the pleasure of using.
Today, I've got to do some quick cleaning to have the house ready for our cell (home bible study) group meeting this evening. And I need to make cookies. And wash dishes (again!). And de-clutter the dining room. And at some point I really need to take a shower. I've already been to the grocery store. And I have had breakfast. I guess that's a good start.
How are you dealing with all of the busyness of life during this season?

Were you snging the song"Christmas Overload" today? You done good.
Your tree looks beautiful, Theresa! We're still deciding on whether to put ours up or not, would you believe?!? :-/ I have a few decorations up in the house and the outside looks great! As far as "busyness", we're doing pretty good, though this week is giving me a run for my money! :-) But we are enjoying it all!!
Why, thank you, dear Sir!
So far, Eva has been content to just look at the tree and watch the lights flash. Jessica and Rob are doing a great job training her to the word "No". I'm glad we went ahead and put up the tree.
