I Got Some Catchin' Up To Do!!!

I know that it seems I have been absent for a while. I had not intended on taking a break. I'm just kinda hitting the wall with stuff to write. I've even been really bad about commenting on other blogs. (I'm really NOT normally at a loss for words, as my family and church friends will willingly tell you!)

So, tonight, I have read and commented on most of the blogs that I normally read. I will try to get some comments on the rest within the next few days.

Now, to try to break the silence on my own blog!!! Let me fill in a little---

I was visiting the Lemons last week. (Have I really only been home 5 days???) I had soooooo much fun cuddling and snuggling and playing with the little Lemons! Pinky is just absolutely the snuggliest baby ever! She LOVES being held (as long as you are not trying to change her clothes!) and she really doesn't seem to mind whether you are holding her up on your shoulder or laying her in your lap, as long as there is real human contact involved! Zesty was absolutely a HOOT!!!! He's such an A!C!T!I!V!E! little boy. Move and talk and move and talk and move, Move, MOVE!!!!! He loves to "wrestle" and do flips off of Nana's lap. (Good thing I've got fast hands or a couple of times he would have landed on his head by doing flips when I wasn't expecting it!)

This picture shows Zesty with a ball in his shirt, however, I just missed catching him rubbing it and saying "Baby?" I just about needed to change clothes because I was laughing so hard!!!

I left the Lemons midmorning on Thanksgiving to head back to Mount Vernon, so I could meet up with my hubby, in-laws, and Mom to go to Ryan's. We all decided that none of us really wanted to cook or clean-up, so we decided the price was worth it.

The next morning (Black Friday), Sir Nottaguy-Imadad and Jessica left our house at 4:20 a.m. to start their annual shopping spree. Eva, David Riley and I stayed snuggly and warmly in bed until MUCH later!!! When we did get up, we kind of lounged and played and talked and finally got around to making cookies.

Evidently, all of the fun just left Eva flat worn out!!! (Yes, those are her feet by her head!) I hadn't heard anything from her for a little while, so I went to check on her and found her folded in half sound asleep. I layed her back and covered her up and she slept for 1 1/2 hours.

Now, I'm back to work. The last two days have left me feeling very bedraggled! Monday chewed me up and spit me out, and then came Tuesday The First! I feel like a steam roller not only ran over me, but then backed up and parked! Even tho' it means I have to work Saturday, I'm very glad that I have tomorrow OFF!!!!

So, whatcha been up to???

Leaving to go shopping at 4:20 a.m.? Really??? I would have been like you and stayed home all warm and snuggly with the kids...

That Eva is just precious! And you just wore her out! Looking forward to getting caught up with you again.
