Our bank is a supporter of the local theater group. This summer they are presenting "Annie".
One of my customers today asked me if I knew whether the real Annie was still living. (I'm serious!) She just about broke into tears when I told her that the character Annie was never real, that the musical was based on an old comic strip "Lil' Orphan Annie".
