The Week That Was

* Sunday and Monday involved recovery from the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival. I was so tired that I was having trouble following along with conversations. If you told me anything really important either of those days, you may want to follow up this weekend and make sure I get it! **feeble grin**

* Tuesday was back to work. When the weekend extends into Monday, Tuesday morning is a real whirlwind at the bank. Everybody that ran out of money over the weekend, or maxed out their ATM card, or ran out of change for their business, tries to walk through the door at 8 a.m. When there are only two tellers in the lobby, that can create quite a scene!

* Wednesday was my day off, so I played with babies, as you can see in my previous post.

* Thursday the pollen count in Central Ohio soared. I have been sneezing, wheezing and dripping like a maniac. I really HATE ragweed and goldenrod season. I really LOVE breathing. For all of you allergy sufferers out there, you have my utmost sympathy!

* Today I'm hoping for a little bit of busy at the bank (it IS Friday) and a little bit of down time. A good mix would be appreciated since I didn't sleep well because of having to blow my nose about eleventy billion times through the night.

* Saturday I have to work, but then I have nothing else planned, and don't want anything else planned. I want to come home from work, drink a cup of hot tea, and take a nap. Then maybe go work on some stuff in my sewing room. Or maybe read a book. Or "watch" a movie.

* I can't give names, but I have a dear friend who is struggling with some health and emotional issues right now. He has stepped down from ministry for a while to deal with this, and just really needs our prayer support. I'd appreciate it if you would pray. God knows his name and his situation.

So, how's your week gone?

K, I took some 12 hr. Sudafed last night and it was wonderful! I slept all night with no congestion!

I admire you so much for working the Sweet Corn Festival, Theresa. It is for such a good cause!
So glad you were able to find some relief with the sudafed!
And I'll be praying for your friend...in Jesus' Name!
