The Week of Teeth

That is what my week will be known as!

Wednesday, I had to take my Mom to her dentist to have teeth removed. The dentist actually pulled two teeth, but now she looks like she was on the wrong end of a flying hockey puck. The teeth that were removed were the anchor teeth for a partial that had been cemented in about 45+ years ago. Needless to say, Mom has been reduced to a soft and semi-liquid diet. She's not happy, but she's not in pain anymore!

On Thursday, I had to take Sparky to the vet for dental surgery. When Sir Nottaguy-Imadad picked him up yesterday afternoon, Sparky had 9 teeth left. Jessica says we should re-name him "Pappy". He's been a little restless, but he's definitely got more energy than he's had for a couple of months!

Thrown in to the mix of dental woes, my son-in-law, Robbie, lost his grandmother after many years of battling emphysema/COPD. I would ask that you keep Robbie and his family in prayer. It's been very rough. They need strength and peace to get through the calling hours on Sunday and the funeral on Monday.

I'm hoping next week will be a MUCH better week!

I don't even know what to say! :-) Hope your mama recovers without any problem AND that Sparky does, too.
I'll surely remember Rob and his family in prayer, Theresa.
Love you all! ((HUGS))
