Sometimes in talking with some of the elderly saints from our church, I hear the most amazing pieces of wisdom!
Today, I was talking with one of the gentlemen about the value of teaching the Word of God to someone, even when it appears that they don't really want to hear it, when he came out with these words:
"The Word of God is like a claw hammer--either you will let it draw you, or it will drive you." George Boysaw
The more I've thought about it, the more it rings true. God's Word will draw you out of yourself and closer to Him, if you'll let it, or it will drive you right out of your mind trying to get away from Him.
