My list of Seven Sevens

My dear eldest daughter, Liz, tagged me to do a list of Seven Sevens. So here goes:

Seven Things I Hope to Do Before I Die:
1. See my family members saved.
2. Go on at least two mission trips.
3. Take a cruise ship from New York to the British Isles.
4. Take a rail trip from Cleveland, OH, to Seattle, WA, then come home via RailCanada.
5. Take a family vacation with all of my children and grandchildren (biological and adopted).
6. Teach more home Bible studies.
7. Get my degree in Education.

Seven Things I Cannot Do:
1. My telltale face will not let me lie!!! (Thank God!!!)
2. I cannot draw anything other than quilt patterns.
3. I cannot understand (or pass) Economics regardless of how good my tutor is!!!
4. I cannot tolerate children back-talking an adult! (Just ask my daughters!)
5. I cannot understand why someone would not want to serve God.
6. I cannot spend money on clothes for myself without feeling guilty.
7. I cannot watch the movie "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" all the way through. (I've tried several times over several years, I've seen the 1st 15 minutes and the last 15 minutes and snored through the rest!!)

Seven Things That Attract Me to My Husband:
1. He is a REAL Christian. He lives what he believes in a very natural way.
2. He is the epitome of a gentle-man. He is a tender, loving man, and is not afraid to be emotional.
3. He can do housework better than I can.
4. He does things to surprise me without having a reason other than he loves me.
5. He does the majority of the Christmas shopping. (Yes, ladies, Ross LOVES to shop!!! I HATE to shop! What a wonderful combination we make!)
6. Ross is a wonderful father and grandfather.
7. His quirky sense of humor! (I'm talking 90 degree bend, here!!)

Seven Things I Say Often:
1. Dear Jesus, give me strength! (Usually just before I'm ready to blow my top!)
2. OOOOHHHHHH!
3. I love you lots! (My husband and grandkids hear this most often!)
4. Hell0, Beautiful! (My greeting to both of my daughters! I don't ever want them to forget that I think they are beautiful, and that beauty shows inside and out!)
5. One of these days.....
6. Did you read...?
7. Wait just a minute!

Seven Books/Series or Authors That I Love:
1. The Bible
2. Francine Rivers
3. Brock and Bodie Thoene
4. Michael Phillips
5. George MacDonald
6. Louisa May Alcott
7. Janice Holt Giles
As you can see, I tend to go by authors. All of these authors write books that can be read over and over again.

Seven Movies I Could Watch Over and Over Again:
1. First Knight
2. Princess Bride
3. The Cutting Edge
4. Yours, Mine, and Ours (the older version)
5. It's a Wonderful Life
6. Rigoletto
7. Any Rogers and Hammerstein Musical!!!!

Seven People That I Want to Do a List of Seven Sevens:

1. Daniel

3. Sarah Ruth
4. Carolyn
