1. The Wonder Husband has been fighting with a persistent leak in our upstairs bathroom sink for about a week now. I think he may have finally beat it! (At least the newspaper under the pipe is still dry.)
2. His surgery is next Tuesday. His pain medicine runs out today. This is going to be a real test of endurance.
3. Saturday the family is all meeting at Newport Aquarium, for a wonderful fun day! And then we are taking Robbie out for his birthday which is Sunday. (Yes, I WILL remember to take the camera and get lots of pics.)
4. Mom's sugar has been bouncing around like a rubber ball this week. It was 209 on Sunday morning and has been as low as 82, and everywhere in between!! I'm hoping to get her in to see a dietitian next week, but that still isn't going to help if she refuses to eat the food that she's told to eat.
5. I have daffodils (or maybe it's tulips) starting to come up in my front yard. I have all kinds of seeds to plant along my fence. I can't wait to see what blooms.
6. The friendly(?) neighborhood skunks have been making their rounds of my house most of the night. Sparky, the (b)Rat Terrier, kept letting us know about this occurrence. at. random. times. like. 2:30 a.m.!!!
7. Even though I'm taking vacation time the next two weeks primarily to nurse the Wonder Husband, I'm very much looking forward to not having to set the alarm clock!!!

We'll sure be praying for Ross and your mother, Theresa. I know what it is like to be without pain medicine. I hope you are able to enjoy some of your vacay, even though you will be taking care of Ross. I'm sure you will! And I love the spring flowers, too! I love it when I don't have to wake up to an alarm clock, too!
Two weeks vacation...I am sooo jealous!
