1. Going to the hospital to see Bob after his stroke and before he passed. (I know it was only a 2 hour drive--but I promise it seemed like it took a week!)
2. The long weekend car trip with the girls in 1989. We drove to Cedar Point and spent the day on Friday; we camped in the car Friday night, and went to Zoar Village, Schoenbrunn Village, and somewhere else on Saturday. (The third stop on Saturday is escaping my memory!)
Two favorite holidays:
1. My wedding anniversary
2. Labor Day (Sweet Corn Festival has ended!!!!)

1. Diet Pepsi (and I ONLY accept Diet Coke if I have NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE!)
2. Sweet Tea (I'm talking deep south, you can use it for syrup, sweet tea!)

We didn't go to Cedar Point that time, Mom -we went to Seaworld- remember those CATS?!!!!
But I can't remember where else we went to, but I'm sure it was something like Ohio Village or Roscoe Village, our fave places to go.
But HECK YEAH that was a long car ride.
I stand corrected - we did Cedar Point AND Seaworld that trip.
