Yes, Yes! I'm Still Here!!

Sorry for the scanty posting lately! Between crazy scheduling at work and the chaos of home, I really have been lucky to even read anyone's blog, much less post on mine. AND I've been in sort of a fog when it comes to writing.

I am in the middle of writing a Bible Study on the Jewish Feasts and Festivals. It's been very interesting finding not just the Biblical foundations, but finding the ways that the holy days were celebrated. I'm trying to bring the focus of each Feast/Festival into our relationship with Jesus. It's been quite the interesting fact-finding dig for me. Some of the celebrations have no scriptural basis (Hannukah, for example), but they commemorate an event that was miraculous.

I guess with the rough couple of years that I have had emotionally, this Bible Study is helping me find reasons to celebrate within myself.
