Our Amazing God!!!

I just have to share this with you all!

In the past year, a friend at church has had 2 major strokes. Both times this has severely affected her left side, her speech, and her memory. This dear lady is in her mid-forties. And has two sons ages 18 and 11. She hasn't been able to work outside of her home since the first stroke, so there have been some major financial changes in their home. Her husband had to learn how to do her hair, and help her with personal care. Her children have had to take on more household responsibilities.

She told the church last night that she had been offered a job on Friday, and was supposed to start Monday. She was incredibly nervous because she couldn't use her left hand/arm. She couldn't type. Her memory was incredibly erratic. She said she just kept asking God if this was what she was supposed to do. She asked Him to give her a sign that she should go ahead and start the job.

She said that she was barely able to sleep Sunday night due to all of the stress she was feeling. The alarm went off and she got up to get her youngest son off to school. He was running a fever, so they both just went back to bed. The alarm went off again at 9 and she got up to start her day. As she was starting to make her bed (with only her right hand), she reached out with her left hand for something AND! IT! WORKED! No weakness! No drawing of muscles! Her hand was perfectly normal! She started crying and said that she's been weeping in gratitude since then!

She started her new job on Tuesday. She can type just fine! You'd never know that there had been such severe damage.

God is just SO AMAZING!!!!

Makes me tear up just as much reading it, as when you told me the first time. I know first hand what losing the use of a hand is like, and bucking the doctors and being able to use it anyway.

We have a God, who cannot fail.
