I am the daughter of two WWII veterans (one Navy, one Marine). I am the sister of a Vietnam Era Army veteran. I am the sister-in-law of a Honduran conflict Army veteran. I am the "mom" of a Y2K Navy veteran. I have the utmost respect for the men and women who have served, laid their lives on the line, and stood for freedom around the world.
I am not a war-monger, but I am also not a pacifist. I don't believe that making war will bring peace between nations. BUT I will not stand unarmed when it is time to take a stand for what is right! I have absolutely NO PROBLEM with Christian men and women bearing arms.
I salute our Armed Services and all of the Veterans who have served, both living and dead!
