Do you have any idea how scary it is to get a text message from your husband while you are at work on a busy Friday that says "I'm taking my brother to ER. His hands and arms are numb and the numbness is spreading." ???
This same brother has had several procedures on his heart this year trying to get it to stay in rhythm. He, also, nearly bled to death because of his blood being so thin and having a diverticulitis attack at the same time.
He's! Only! 49!!!!
The "good" news is that they think he had a small stroke. The EKG, CT scan and stress test show no other probable causes. He is feeling better, and the majority of the numbness/tingling has left.
I do hate being scared like that, though!

Oh my goodness... I'm glad he's doing okay. You seldom hear stroke and "good news" used together. Also amazing about your friend who suffered a stroke... Amazing!
How is your brother-in-law doing? He seems too young for all those health issues.
