Credit Where Credit Is Due!

You get to read lots of stuff on this blog and there have been several rants in the last few months about poor customer service, but I want to give a HUGE shout out to the guys at Bee Line Service Center in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

I have been having some major brake noise on my PT and another service center told me that it was just dirt and/or road salt and not to worry about the noise. Finally, this weekend, Sir Nottaguy-Imadad put his foot down that it had to be fixed and I needed to get it taken care of quickly. I called the normal garage that does our mechanic work, but they couldn't get me in until sometime next week.

Because of a business relationship I decided to talk to one of the guys from Bee Line, about what we were hearing. He took my phone number, called me back with an estimate of the cost of the materials and asked what time I got off work.

I explained that I wouldn't be getting off until 4:30 and that I had to pick up my granddaughter. He asked if I could be at his shop before 5:30. When I told him yes, he said that they would get it taken care of today.

No joke, People! I pulled onto the lot at 5:10 (the shop closes at 4:30), he had my car in the air 3 minutes later with two (yes, 2) mechanics working on it at the same time. Complete brake job! after hours! with two mechanics! done in less than 45 minutes! AND he only charged me the regular labor charge for one mechanic!

Now, let me tell you, that is GREAT customer service, and he has just won repeat customers!! AND I will be MORE than happy to tout his business to ANYONE that needs brake service!

Oh, and his reason for waiting for me after hours??? The mechanic couldn't stand the thought of me driving grand babies around with bad brakes! (And did my "grandmother" heart just stand up and salute!)
