Oh, The Joy!

I wish there were a faster way to get to The Lemons' home from my house.

It was so much fun having the 3 littles together. And getting to talk with both my daughter AND my son-in-law in the same few hours!!! And trying to spend a little time with Splenda. (She's so excited! about being in the Yearbook Club!)

Eva and Zesty had to test the "sharing" waters a little, but mostly they played pretty well together. Nap time was fun. Zesty was determined that Eva should sleep in his bed with him. Not happening! Eva was asleep before either of the other two. She rolled up in her blanket, stuck her pacifier in her mouth and conked out for 2 hours. Zesty was trying to negotiate different sleeping arrangements for a good 30 mins. Pinky talked herself to sleep in about 15 mins.

The best thing was as soon as I got in the door, Pinky was reaching for me. (She left DAD to come to NANA!) I love it!

I did have some interesting times in the trip with Eva. She's discovered how to unfasten the top part of her carseat belt. I had to stop 3 times on the way down to do some correction and re-fastening. One of the times, a state trooper started to pull in behind me as I was walking around to get back in the car. I motioned that I was fine and got in a pulled away. I DID! NOT! want him to hear the screaming child in the back seat! She was sooooo mad that I fixed the belt! Eva, also, tried to escape at a rest area. Thankfully a very, VERY large truck driver stepped in her path and told her to stop. She looked up at him and immediately turned around and walked back to me and held her hand up for me to take. I don't know who the man was, but I'm very thankful he was there at the right time!

I really wish there were a faster way to get there! I'd go more often.

Sounds like quite an adventure. :)

Perhaps, one of these days, the transporters from "Star Trek" will become a reality. That would be too cool.
