Pitching

I've reached my absolute limit!

I'm surrounded by the stuff that is trying to consume my home. I've had it!

Last night I spent the better part of 2 hours going thru the clothes in one closet/corner of one room. There are four (4) bags and one (1) box full of clothes that no longer fit my mother or that she won't wear, but she didn't want to let go. They are leaving the house today!

My next project is the set of bookshelves that are holding many duplicate books. (Mom can't resist buying books. Sometimes she already has them, but oh well, she was in the mood to buy!) Then I'm going to tackle the linen closet.

I'm really working my way from the back of the first floor to the front. THEN I'm going upstairs!

Beware, Sir Nottaguy-Imadad, the Weeder-Outer has broken loose! Warning to all family members, the storage unit is closed! If it's here and you want it, you probably ought to come get it before I get rid of it.

haha - stressed much? (glad I don't have anything left there) (but if you start going through your kitchen, you should call me first so I can come and catch your throw-aways)

Oh, but I know what you are saying! I am not a keeper in the first place, meaning I don't keep stuff BUT somehow my house feels like it is slowly being overrun, too, and it might be because of little Jaylon and the toys that are accumulating...I don't know. But I am slowly taking things out the front door to my car and I'm gonna make a trip to the thrift store with it all!
Good luck!! :-)

Hehe...I had the pitching spirit hit me a few months ago--conveniently when my DH (aka PACKRAT) was gone...

I organized ALL of his stuff and threw a ton of stuff away.

Now, he's emptying his storage, so I'm going to have to do it again...when he's gone... He thwarts me when I'm home. lol. I despise clutter.

The pitching spirit - that's hilarious Kari! I have to do it when Mr Lemon is gone too, and I have to Goodwill when he's not home because he doesn't have the patience for digging and refurbishing :)
