I officially started two weeks of vacation after I finished work on Saturday at 3 p.m.
I am So! Very! Ready! to allow my employer to pay me for 2 weeks of doing what I want to do (within reason) when I want to do it.
Most of my co-workers don't subscribe to my thoughts on this matter, but look at it this way: If I were at work doing my normal job, I would be getting my normal hourly rate. Now, I'm on vacation, doing the things I want to do (and a few necessary things like cooking and dishes), and STILL getting paid my normal hourly rate! My employer is paying me to have fun and enjoy myself!
My goal for this vacation is to have everything finished by 3:30 each day, so that I have the evenings to really have fun with my family.
I will have Shanna starting on Thursday. I will have Eva on the days her Momma is working. I will have David Riley in the evenings after school. At some point during this vacation, the Lemon clan will arrive for a visit. I'm planning on spending time with Abby, Jonathan, and Hunter.
It's MY vacation, and I'm planning on spending it having fun with the grandkids! And allowing my employer to fund it!

yay! vacation time is so fun. Z and G are excited to spend the night at Nana's house. I'm excited they are spending the night at Nana's house too. :)
