Well, today is probably the best day I've had since my surgery. The swelling is down to the size of an egg at the front of my throat, most of the bruising is fading away (although the muscle soreness is still quite pronounced!). I must have fought while I was under anesthesia, because I am sore in places that have nothing to do with my surgical sight!!!
Had an interesting experience in the shower this morning...I was doing the final rinse on my hair and all of a sudden there was something sliding down my back and onto my leg!!! Talk about doing a careful quick step ;) When I finally got a glimpse of what it was (I was expecting a bug or spider) I found two sticky pads that the doctor used to attach sensors to my back!! Evidently the nurse who was taking them off, missed a couple! (What an icky feeling!)
Yesterday late afternoon we had a most unusual weather pattern come through our lovely city! It had been beautiful, 77 degrees, sunny and all of a sudden the temperature took a plunge, we had a horrible thunder storm, and then it went right back to sunshine!! You never can tell what Spring will bring with it to Central Ohio!
Well, I have company on the way to my house, so I guess I'd better log off and make sure everything is ready. Have a wonderful weekend folks!
