Well, the long-awaited report is in! Everything is clearly benign!!! (THANK YOU, JESUS!!!!) However, I am still puzzling the doctor--he originally said that I did not have a goiter (a thyroid growth/cyst), however the pathology report shows that the goiter was inside the thyroid. Normally, goiters grow on the outside and are the first clue that something is wrong with your thyroid, because mine was growing inside the thyroid tissue the doctor was not able to identify it. Oh, well, I've never claimed to be normal!!!!
On to the fun stuff! I've tried driving a couple of times now, it's very interesting to drive when you can't swivel your head very well!!! I have discovered that I really, really need my mirrors right now and God be merciful to anyone who changes their angles!!!!
I've also discovered that there is a lot of housework that needs to be done, but that I cannot do without help because it pulls on my neck!!!! I can reach up, but I cannot lift anything heavier than a feather duster, therefore I cannot vacuum the ceiling and walls in my room. (I don't want to use a duster because I can't handle the dust floating around my room!) I need to clean my stairs, but it doesn't matter whether I'm working above the step I'm trying to clean, or from one-step down, the side to side motion is really painful. My house is not really dirty, but dust bugs me!!!! And clutter is starting to bug me. (Of course, I live with the two best packrats in the whole world!) I'm just about ready to have a give away day. (No, my husband says that he wants to have a yard sale this summer--like a said a give away day!!!)
Well, I'm going to try to find the top of my stereo. I will de-clutter what I can without causing a mutiny in my household! Have a wonderful evening, folks!

Thank the Lord for your wonderful report!!! Now you just take care of yourself and, for heaven's sake, don't worry about the dust!! It will be there when you are well enough to get to it. If it really starts getting to you, just take your glasses off! *smile* I can't see any dust or dirt with my glasses off!! lol And be careful driving, you!!! I don't want anything to happen to you!! ((HUGS))
You're so sweet! I wish you were close enough to give a real hug!!
make a "daughter do" list for when I come in May and I will do whatever you need done. Excluding caring for the dog. That would be Dad's job.
Liz, I suspect that I will be your Daughter-do when you come. I'm not sure you are going to want anything added to that!!
