It's a Very Rainy Wednesday!

I don't know what kind of weather you (my dear reader) are having today, but we have had one thunderstorm after the other today. Needless to say, my poor Rat Terrier, Sparky, is a quivering mess. He just hates any loud noise or bright flash of light. (The 4th of July is always so much fun for him ;) !)

Oh, well, despite the weather, everything else is good. I had a lovely visit with my daughter, Liz, and on Sunday morning her husband, Dustin, did a wonderful job of preaching to the Dads and men at our church. I love to here my kids sing and preach!

Liz and I also went shopping at our favorite store, Cato's, and she picked out a jacket for a late birthday gift and a beautiful striped shirt. Here's a picture of her in the jacket:

Well, I've got to go grocery shopping (yuck, yuck, and double yuck!) and then get something started for supper. I'm thinking grilled chicken with a rice pilaf. Maybe I'll pick up some Klondike Bars for desert. Ice cream makes everything good!!!
