Yesterday was most definitely one of those days. The only thing that I accomplished that I had planned was getting Riley to Kindergarten Kamp. (The fun thing about that: Riley's teacher for KK is the same Kindergarten teacher that taught both my girls! She was very excited about having Jessica's son!)
I wound up having to run to Columbus to my surgeon's office so that they could take a look at my incision. I have an infection going, and they had to lance it and pack it. Not fun times!!!! I'm supposed to go back Thursday. I'm really praying that everything has cleared by then!!! (I'd appreciate your prayers, too!) The bad part about the visit was waiting for over 2 hours in the waiting area. One surgeon was on vacation, and the other one was trying to see both sets of patients. He was drastically overbooked!!!
The other bad thing was dealing with evening rush hour traffic and stupidity. At one point, two consecutive exit ramps were blocked by accidents. I am so glad that I do not have to drive into Columbus on a daily basis. I think I would have to smack myself real hard if I started considering a job down there!!!! Give me my nice quiet Mount Vernon rush minute!!
Well, today I really must finish Mistie's wedding dress. The wedding is July 8th and she's in major panic mode. I keep telling her that she will be fine and that everything will be done in plenty of time, but you know how brides can be ;)
Have a lovely day, Folks!

She will be well pleased with her dream dress when you do get finished, but please pace yourself and don't leave it all to the last minute!
I can't believe Riley is old enough to do half the stuff he thinks up.
I'm trying to pace myself, but you know how life tends to intrude!! ;)
Life does indeed intrude, but I tend to be a procrastinator. *sigh* And I have unintentionally nurtured this same trait in our son! Argh! Just ask Erin...*sigh* But on the flip side of being a procrastinator, I do work well under pressure! *grin* Hey, Theresa, please post a pic of the dress here when you get it finished. I would love to see it! I am praying for your healing and recovery!
I will be happy to post a picture of the wedding dress, as soon as I get the bride's permission. I appreciate your prayers!!!
