Not so much!!!
The bank's written philosphy is that there are to be no religious discussions during business hours. However, it doesn't work!
How do "they" expect someone to keep the most vital part of their life out of the workplace??
This is only Tuesday, and so far this week:
1. A customer going thru a divorce asked me to pray that they could reconcile.
2. Another customer found out that they have inoperable cancer and asked that I just pray for them to have peace as they pass from this life.
3. A co-worker was discussing a difficulty in their family and asked for prayer for wisdom.
4. A gentleman grabbed my hand as I handed him his change and said that he needed to pray for me, and he did--right then.
5. I told a friend that one of the ladies at church would be having her baby in the next few weeks and he said that we needed to pray for her, and we did.
6. A young customer asked why I dress the way I do and so I told her and she asked for Bible references. I gave them to her, and she said that she was looking to know more of the Will of God, so she was going to go study.
My company may have a "No Religion" policy, but it just doesn't play out when you have real life handed to you and you get to help people deal with tough times.
