Well, Folks, I have had a week, let me tell you!! It was my first full week back after vacation. It made me seriously start thinking of ways to retire!
Monday wasn't too bad. Just very busy. And dealing with lots of questions. And trying to restore my teller window to some semblance of order. And dealing with LOTS of questions. Oh, did I mention, I was answering a lot of questions???
Tuesday started about 2 a.m., with a frantic phone call from Jessica asking if I could come stay with David Riley and Eva while Robbie took her to the ER. She was having severe pain in her lower right abdomen. I was a little frantic, but managed to pray it through. Turns out she pulled a round ligament. Thank God it was nothing worse. (She's a little sore still, but getting better every day.) The pain meds the ER gave her made her soooooo loopy though that she couldn't be left alone, so I called off work and stayed with her. The Lemons came up for a visit and fun was had by all! The day finally ended for me about 9:15 p.m., when I could no longer hold my head up without propping it up with one of my hands. I'm just NOT cut out for 19 hour days anymore.
Wednesday was pretty good. I went with Jessica to several appointments. Held Eva as much as I could get away with. Cooked a meatloaf and mashed potatoes dinner for everybody. Went to church. And came home and collapsed in bed.
Thursday was pretty calm at work. I finally got everything straightened up in my area and reorganized. (I truly don't understand why someone who is only in my window twice a month thinks she has to rearrange it!) We had a great prayer meeting at church, and then Sir Nottaguy-Imadad and I went to visit Mom at the nursing center. I almost wish we would have snuck in, put her laundry away and left. SHE WAS A GROUCH!!! She had nothing nice to say about anyone or anything.
Friday has been a fast-moving day. I had trouble getting myself out of bed, but once I did, the day just started rolling like a ball rolling downhill. I walked into work at 9:45 a.m., and there were two tellers in the lobby and a line that stretched out to the front door. As I was threading my way through the jam, three of my business customers asked if I would be opening my window soon. When I told them that I would, they just stepped out of line and walked up to my window to wait. I literally flew through my opening procedures so that I could help out. And the day just kept rolling! I did manage to get in a lunch date with Jessica and Eva. Sir and I went out for ice cream after I got off of work and it was sooooo nice just to sit and talk and NOT have to be anywhere or do anything! I think we're going to make it an early evening. I have to work tomorrow, so I have to set my alarm, but I'm going to get as much sleep as I can.
Here's hoping that your weekend is a good one! I'm looking forward to some warmer temperatures. (Notice I said "looking forward to", not "expecting"! We are in Ohio!)

Well, that sounds SOP (Standard Operational Procedures) for me. Busy, hectic, chaos, and unexpected hurdles.
I'm weary just reading about your week AND you work outside of your home! I don't know if I could do that any longer, seriously. I just finished my first week of watching little Jaylon and I'm tuckered out. *smile* But I've completely enjoyed it. Erin did let me know yesterday that she has a lady from her church "on call" if I should need a day off now and again, which I was really thankful to know. Hope you have some time to chill this weekend! ((HUGS))

Okay - I just read your post and now I need a nap!
Regarding your two sons - it simply explains your open, caring heart, which deserves no explanation to anyone...
Well, Ninja, knowing how your week has gone (down the toilet, so to speak) I guess mine hasn't been too bad! lol
Jewel, this is my chill time!
L.C.--I need a nap, too. OR maybe a nice soak in a warm tub. (Can I come borrow yours??) **grin**
