Jessica and I arrived home safely Saturday from West Virginia. Driving (or riding) up and down mountains with 50+MPH winds is nerve-wracking to say the least. When the wind moves your vehicle 1/2 a lane to your left with little warning, intercessory prayer starts immediately!
As we were coming home, we would occasionally get a text or call from the Ninja family to keep us updated on the progress of labor. Ninja Baby was born late Saturday night. She weighed 8 lbs. 1.5 oz., was 21" long, and very healthy! Ninja Mistie did a great job delivering her and Ninja John did a not-so-great job of sending me pictures. (However, his Facebook had 21+ pictures shortly after birth. Not that I'm bitter or anything.)
Yesterday, Sir Nottaguy-Imadad's family congregated at our house for Mother's Day dinner. My mom was here, also, and was being quite her old self. Not necessarily a good thing.
I was soooo glad to get into my bed last night! My pillow! My bed! My husband! Oh, what a sweet combination!
