Anticipation

This weekend is going to be very, Very, VERY full and fun!!!

Sometime Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Lemon will make their appearance in our quaint little Central Ohio town.  They are coming in for some dear friends' wedding on Saturday.

After the reception Saturday, Sir Nottaguy-Imadad and I will come home and get packed to head to an even smaller, quainter Southern West Virginia town.  My family reunion is held on the banks of the Greenbriar River every July 4th.

I haven't been since Dad passed in 2007.

I'm feeling a little bittersweet about it, but I'm, also, anticipating having lots of fun reconnecting with some of the family. One of my cousins has been instrumental in our decision to go.  She got married on Memorial Day weekend.  We weren't able to attend.  She invited us to stay with her if we would come down.  So, Renee is winning this one.

And truth be told, I really am getting excited about being out of town for a weekend.  Maybe it will help me put some other issues in perspective.
