I just heard that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. Buckeye Chuck (Ohio's local groundhog) did NOT see his shadow. So, take your pick, there's either going to be an early Spring, or Winter has 6 more weeks. (AND if you don't hear the sarcasm dripping, it's truly not my fault!)
In other news, Eva has an upper respiratory infection. That means that she had a glorious 6+ hour stay in Children's Emergency Department yesterday, because her asthma goes into overdrive when she gets this type of infection. Now, we are doing the nebulizer treatments every 4 hours around the clock. Fun times! (Not really, but, hey, I'm trying to stay on the upside of this.) Jessica has slept sitting up in a chair with Eva for 3 nights running, and today she's working a 12 hour shift at the hospital. I remember those days. Not fondly, but I remember them. (My long-term memory is still good!)
If you've ever asked God "Why?" you need to read Rachel Coltharp's post here. She has the best put-together scriptural answer I have ever read!!! It doesn't belittle the questioner or the question, but it does leave you with hope.
I will probably post again a little later this afternoon (maybe after I get Eva down for a nap) because I have a recipe that I want to share.
Have a fun day!

I have asked Why way too often lately. It's the getting older thing I think and with more potential for things to go wrong with health of loved ones and ourselves. And then, too, there was that horrible incident in Utah over the weekend and the Dr. Phil show today. I should quit watching television.
Hope that the little one is feeling much better. My youngest grandson also has asthma and it can be a scare by times.
I've got to go check on the Flat Princess. I say that every time I show up...right?
