On Wednesdays, my daughter, Jessica, and her family come for dinner. After dinner, Riley usually rides in our car when it is time to go to church for Bible Study.
Last night he was buckling in when he happened to notice that my mom's fingers are badly bent. (Arthritis does amazing things to your joints!) I guess he had never noticed them before, so he started asking my mom about them.
At one point, Mom told him that sometimes old people just have hands that look that way. Riley kept talking for a few minutes, then he said, "Granny, are you an old people?" Mom told him that she was, and he said, "Well, I'm not, I'm a new people!"
I thought Ross and I were going to split our sides laughing at that!!!! You just never know what is going to come out of that child's mouth!

How sweet! He is a "new people". Well, I am not young but I don't necessarily think I am old either. I am a "very well used" person? Hmmm...I may have to work on that. *grin*
I think I resemble that remark, Sis. Jewel!!!
