First Week Back to Work...

The first week back to work, is almost over. (I have to work tomorrow.) So far, it has been pretty good.

Monday, was a definite ego-booster for me. My commercial customers (I'm a commercial bank teller, FYI) were very happy to see me. As a matter of fact, two of them came in and waited in line even though they didn't have any banking to do, just so they could say "Hi!". NOW THAT'S NICE!!!! All week has been like that, it's been kind of funny watching the other tellers reactions.

Physically, it's been tiring, but I haven't had as much muscle pain as I was expecting. Even getting together a large change order (a couple boxes of pennies and one box of each other coin, roughly 50 lbs. worth of metal) for one of my customers, was relatively painless.

I am glad that the week is almost over. I've gotten way too used to an afternoon nap, and this week has been a problem from about 2-4 p.m.

I've also been trying to keep up with my daughter, Liz, who is in Louisville, KY, this week at the UPCI's National Ladies' Conference. She's been blogging on Ninety and Nine under Colliedioscope. I'd put the link in here, but I haven't learned how to do that yet. Liz sent me a text message on my cell phone today (while I was working diligently) to tell me that she was at Joe's Crab Shack (I love seafood) and had ordered key lime pie (my favorite pie). I think I'm going to have to do some re-teaching about not bragging!! ;)

Well, I have some housework that I need to do. (Unless of course, one of you want to volunteer -- I didn't think so!) I will try to blog again this weekend. Have a great evening, Folks!
