This is going to be a short post, but I want to encourage you to pick up a book titled "Story" by Steven James. My friend, Don Ryan, had posted about it a week or so ago, and it intrigued me.
Basically, the book is a walk from Creation to the Resurrection, but in a fantastic mix of story, poetry, and scripture. The author has a way of pulling you, here and now, right into the heart of each chapter.
I found my copy at WalMart. However, I'm sure libraries should also have copies. Whatever it takes for you to get hold of a copy to read it, it will be worth your time. It is not a large book, and it "moves" fast, so even if you are not much of a reader, you shouldn't have trouble with it.
