Let me preface this by saying, I never! win! anything! good!
My husband, however, seems to be talented at winning contests. He's won a free OSU flag, baseball caps, etc. The most recent win has just boggled my mind, though.
When Sir and Jessica went to the Columbus Bluejackets Hockey game, he filled out all sorts of contest forms. One them was for a car. (That won't end until February.) But on the form for the car, was an add-on contest for a 4 day, 3 night cruise, with round-trip airfare included.
HE WON IT!!!!!
We had to go sit through a 2 hour presentation from this travel network about the vacation packages they wanted to sell for $12,000 plus an annual membership fee of $400. (I'm very adept at saying "NO" to sales pitches no matter how good they sound.) BUT the long and short of it was that we picked up our packet of information about the cruise, and how to get it scheduled.
Now, if any of you know me even passably well, you know I DON'T LIKE TO FLY! This has been a bone of contention with family for years. I did agree to go see my doctor and get medicine to help me cope with the flight for this vacation. I may tend to be a wet blanket about flying, but I'm not stupid enough to throw away a vacation for which we don't have to pay.

I never win anything but wanted to encourage you with the flying! One of my good friends is *terrified* to fly and she just flew to Nicaragua and back and SURVIVED! Trust me, if she can do it, you can do it! Try Benedryl!
Thanks, Tiff, but I think it's going to take something stronger than Benedryl! I'm going to see what the doctor prescibes. It should be an interesting flight for my husband, at least.
