1. Thank God, Mom came through her surgical procedure well yesterday.
2. Waiting for lab results is tedious, at best.
3. Afternoon naps are wonderful, when they can be had.
4. Holding two grandbabies at the same time just melts this Nana's heart.
5. Having an 8 yr. old grandson hug you "just because" is one of the nicest things in the world.
6. Getting a late night call that Mom has fallen again, guarantees a restless night's sleep.
7. Making decisions to take away a parent's mobility is heartbreaking.
8. Knowing that there are friends you can talk about life's frustrations with is priceless.
9. God's timing is immaculate--as I'm writing this, the song "Hold Fast" by MercyMe is playing.
10. A hot shower and good lotion makes most things better.

I'm so glad your mother's surgery went went well.
Love the "grandma" comments, though I can't imagine holding two at the same time, what with Jaylon's squirminess. :-)
