Right at this moment (8:57 a.m.) it is sunny and 78F. We have a high of 89F predicted and thunderstorms later this evening.
Before my day gets to that, I have to do dishes, mop the floors, go to the grocery, prep food for our home Bible study group, set up extra chairs and take a shower. It's going to be a busy day! Oh, I also have Eva and David Riley for the day. I think I'm going to bribe DR into mopping the floors for me and setting up the extra chairs. He's good about stuff like that!
Right now, I'm waiting for Eva to wake up, so I can get her dressed and fed. She can go to the grocery with me, while DR does the floors. (That way he doesn't face the constant frustration of someone walking on his clean, but wet floor!)
I'm really hoping we do get the rain, whether it accompanies a thunderstorm or not. My yard is dry. My flowers are dry. The farmers around the area are starting to see crops dry up. The county fair is next week, if there isn't any rain before it starts, there will be monstrous dust clouds in the parking fields. (Of course, if there is too much rain, then there are mud slides in the parking fields.)
I'm starting to hear the sounds of little 3 yr old feet, so I guess I will go get started on the day. Have a great one!
