Well, as everyone can see, my wonderful daughter, Liz, has redecorated for me again and I absolutely love it!!
I have been having a little trouble finding the time to blog, so this week, I'm hoping to get in at least a short blog everyday. I'm on vacation this week, and deliberately did not schedule anything!!! I need a week to get housework and sewing caught up. (My mending pile keeps growing, but I also have some alterations to do for some of my co-workers. I love the extra money I earn from alterations, even though I do work cheap.)
I'm making a dress for my adopted granddaughter, Abby, for Christmas. She says that she only likes pink and Disney Princesses, so I'm going to head to JoAnn Fabrics and see if I can combine both into one dress.
Well, before I can do some of my housecleaning, I have to restock cleaning supplies, so I am Wal-Mart bound and I think I will drop in on Jessica at Kenyon Inn for lunch. (There's nothing so good as having one of your children waiting on you!! Liz used to take really good care of me when she worked at LaPaloma!!)

Of COURSE I took good care of you - me and Jess practiced "working at La Paloma" what with the bread and ramen sandwiches so much during the pre-teen summers, I was an easy train :) I still think it is so funny that we were so excited to get to work there. It was fun.

I do hope you enjoy your vacation, Theresa, though it sounds like it is already a busy one. I am loving the "feel" of the holidays already, you know? Ed and I shopped yesterday...early, as he had the day off....and got all of the necessary groceries that we needed for Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! ((HUGS))
