Randomness...

1. I don't mind snow, as long as it stays off of the roads and sidewalks.
2. Ice should only be found in a tall glass of sweet tea.
3. People that visit my house without calling ahead, get to see the real life of our family.
4. If I am on the computer, my mother is going to ask me to close the desk so she can get past. (Usually more than once.)
5. I love Diet Pepsi. (Tolerate Diet Coke if that is the only other diet option.)
6. Mom will ask what I'm planning for supper even as she is eating breakfast.
7. I have very little patience with people who complain about how they feel, but won't do anything to help themselves feel better. (Seriously, if you have high blood pressure, for example, and you refuse to watch what you eat and exercise, don't complain about your numbers!)
8. I am not in the best of moods today, so I think I shall take myself off of the computer and go sew or something!

Talk to you all later!

#6 is a hoot - so accurate and representative of a certain generation of homemakers in all of our lives. My grandma laments regularly that since my grandpa died she has no one to cook dinner for. But you gotta love people who literally wake up planning how best to fill our bellies. :)

Happy sewing. :)

Diet Pepsi is my fave, too, Theresa! Actually, I really like Pepsi One but I can't always find it. My mom got me hooked on that one. As of late, I've been drinking Diet7-up for some unknown reason. *sheesh* But it is probably my 2nd favorite soda.

ewww Diet Pepsi. LOL.
I am a 'free spirit' cook and don't like when people ask me what I'm planning for dinner, even if it's just before serving it. With the picky children I tend to interpret the question as "I'm planning not to like it" ...

I think I'm a #7, maybe you wouldn't like me IRL. I often have a head stuffed full of knowledge on what I *should* do, but don't DO it. Maybe because i didn't really learn to start a job, do it to the best of my ability, and FINISH it. I need a little more of that in my life. No, a lotta that.

:)
kim ~ who knows she ought to be cleaning, but catching up on blogs is so much more funnnnn
