Yesterday, was a very gooooood day! I taught a Sunday School lesson about the sanctity of marriage, and how keeping your marriage sacred starts when you are a young teen, (long before you fall in love!) with the decisions you make to keep your life pure. My students all got involved in the lesson (including Matt who is usually VERY quiet). I love when I teach a lesson that they all have something to add to!
Then we went out to lunch with Jessica, Robbie, David Riley, Rob's mom, Pauline, and her boyfriend, Charlie to celebrate Jessica's birthday. (She's "officially" old--she's 25!!!)

Then last night's service was (to copy my friend Becky) ABOSOLUTELY fabulous! From the very beginning of the service there was a wonderful spirit of worship--as we got towards the end of the song service people were in the aisles and around the altar worshipping and dancing before the Lord! That same spirit of worship continued through the Hands of Praise ministering and the choir, and through Bro. Hall's sermon about "The Governor Didn't Know". Talking about the wedding at Cana when Jesus turned the water into wine--the governor of the feast didn't know where the wine came from, he only knew it was the best he had tasted. The servants knew that it had been water until Jesus told them to take some to the governor. Bro. Hall said that the same thing happens with us--we are not righteous, and we KNOW we are not righteous, but Jesus, the Propitiator of our sins, tells us to present ourselves to God. God doesn't know that we are not righteous, because all He sees is the righteousness that Jesus has covered us in! What a beautiful truth!
Hope you all had just as wonderful of a day!
