Have you ever had one of those weeks when your prayer list just seemed to double in size on a daily basis??? I mean the urgent prayer requests, not the "pray that I find the perfect shirt" type of requests!!!!
My good friends Donnie and his daughter, Becky, are facing the loss of his grandmother to cancer. (She's not gone, yet, but the signs are that it may be very soon.) Liz and Chris are facing a challenging situation. One of my very faithful customers told me that he was just diagnosed with a rapid growing cancer in his esophagus, and that there is no treatment. He was given approximately 12-15 weeks. My friend, Jewel, has been dealing with intense pain in her legs, hips, and back, and is having to readjust her life to deal with it. My niece, Shev, had a job opportunity that she had to make a fast decision about--it involved her moving to Florida, which now leaves my sister-in-law, Beth, by herself.
This has all just come to a head this week!!!
