Fair Week Sightings....

This is Knox County Fair week. Our church takes care of directing traffic in the parking area every night of the fair as a fund raiser. AND as you may imagine, the sights you see can be quite amazing at times!! Here are some of the T-shirts that I have seen this week, so far:

"Think Pink" (on an ugly brown t-shirt)
"I don't have issues--I AM the issue"
"My parents believe in discipline--I just don't listen well"
"Pink Floyd is the name of my flamingo"
"If you can read my t-shirt, you are TOO close"
"I'm a farmer, I came for the animals"
"Rabbit owners have hopping good times"
"Demolition Derby--It's all about the crack up"
"When you're stuck in the mud, call John Deere"

I have also seen things that no human should be exposed to:

200+ lb. woman wearing a halter top and Daisy Duke shorts
Very elderly man wearing shorts, knee socks and sandals (no shirt)
An under 10 yr old girl dressed like a street walker complete with enough makeup to make her face crack.
A pit bull type dog with a baby bonnet tied on it's head.

Blogging may be a little light, but I figured none of you faithful readers could go without the knowledge of what I have seen!!! Have a lovely week!

I'm with John up there. I would have loved to have seen the pitbull with the bonnet! *smile*
Don't work too hard! I admire your church for doing this so faithfully, Theresa!

Ah fair week...how I miss it. Met Hubs at the fair. We were 14. I was probably wearing too much make-up--but no daisy dukes!
