Jeana has asked a great question about commenting on blogs. I don't normally join in discussions started at other blogs, but this is one that I feel strongly about, so I'm joining in.
Why DO I blog?? Well, it started about 2 years ago with a gentle nudge (read big shove) from my daughter Liz. My blog is really all about my life! Very simple. I talk about my faith occasionally. I talk about the frustrations of being the caregiver for my 86 year old mom. I discuss some of the fun and frustrating parts of my job as a commercial bank teller. I brag on my WonderHusband. Share fun & not so fun family stuff. Discuss my grandkids, granddogs, grandrats, grandfish, and, now, grandguinea pig. I don't really have an "agenda".
What kind of comments do I like to see?? I like most comments. I'm really not picky. However, anyone who posts something with inappropriate language may find their comments editted or deleted.
I have "met" some new bloggers based on comments that they have left and have learned to love the blogging community for the most part. I have found bloggers that care passionately for their God and their families. I've met moms in all different realms of parenthood. I've met a few dads who are out there working their tails off to meet the needs of their families, who are not afraid to share what they are going through. I read a couple of teenagers' blogs, and thoroughly enjoy their viewpoints on life.
So, feel free to comment on this blog. I'll listen to what you have to say, probably comment on it, and we can have fun getting to know each other.

awesome post Mom. You've come a long way in your blogging, and I'm so proud of you. It's great to have something that we can do together even when we are hours apart.

Just in case you don't already know, Jeana is my daughter--I'm claiming her right now just because she is demonstrating the good manners she was taught ;)--no seriously, I love her and I'm proud of her, and she got me started blogging, just as Liz did you. and by the way, I love the Lizness too!
